Skel - Bridge

In this short movie I co-directed with seven teammates I was in charge of designing and creating the sets.

Skel's bridge is the set where most of the short movie scenes take place. It was a huge challenge for me to create an original concept at first and then bringing it to life through CGI. We wanted to give the movie dark fantasy themes while combining complex patterns inspired by many ethnicities to create something previously unseen. I started gathering lots of references, some architectural and some used to design the characters for the movies. To immerse the viewer into a whole new world, I had to work hand in hand with my teammates designing the characters as well as the people working on the script to adapt the set design to the story. But working with such constraints was actually very enlightening and fun.
