Hell Ones was my first team project. It enabled me to test my technical, teamwork and communication skills in order to prepare myself for the upcoming graduation short movie. The team was responsible for selecting a theme, writing the dialogues, designing the characters and the set and then bringing everything to life with CGI.
We chose to invent a parody of Hot Ones based on the french show hosted by Kyan Khojandi while adding a little twist to it: the host would be the devil testing his recently deceased guests with hot sauce.
We wanted to give the project a comical and absurd visual to go along with the overall theme. Therefore we decided to gather inspiration from the Tumblehead Studio's remarkable style. It was quite new and challenging at first but it became really fun to play with this style.
